pedestrial activator
The pedestrial activator is a reclaimed electric organ pedal board turned MIDI controller. The original electronics have been replaced with soft touch momentary switches usually used in boutique guitar pedals. These switches are then read by a Teensy 4.0 microcontroller on custom circuit board designed to simplify the creation of custom MIDI controllers. It outputs MIDI control over USB which can be used to play any software synthesizer or sampler.
The wooden case of the controller is built from solid ash and mimics the look of vintage roll-top organs.
